Speidell Supercars & Auto Repair was established in 2013 and has grown steadily from a high-performance specialty shop into a full-service facility serving drivers across Dutchess County. Owner James Speidell brought a background as a Ford Senior Master Certified technician with more than 15 years of factory-trained experience, and that foundation of precision and expertise has shaped everything we do.

What started with a focus on Ford and GM performance builds has expanded to cover all makes and models, from Mustangs and Corvettes to Audis, BMWs, and everything in between. The same attention to detail that goes into a ZR1 dyno tune goes into every oil change, brake job, and inspection we perform.

Owner & Master Technician James Speidell is a Ford Senior Master Technician with deep roots in high-performance automotive service, custom engineering, and engine calibration. As our lead Master Tech and tuner, James oversees every complex build from concept to track-ready execution—specializing in custom metal fabrication, performance upgrades, and forced induction setups.

He operates our in-house chassis dynamometer to dial in precise horsepower, torque, and real-world driveability, while also delivering custom remote tuning via HP Tuners RTD devices for clients outside the shop. His credentials combine official Ford Senior Master Certification with direct authorized dealer status for top-tier industry brands, including HP Tuners, BG Products, SCT Performance, and Torco Race Fuel and Lubricants. That rare blend of factory mastery, custom fabrication skill, and advanced dyno calibration ensures every build that leaves our shop delivers uncompromised performance and reliability. 

Service & Social Media Manager Tamara Day keeps the shop running smoothly behind the scenes and online. She manages customer relations, scheduling, and service coordination to ensure a seamless experience from start to finish. Behind the camera, Tamara captures our daily shop life and latest builds, bringing the craftsmanship of Speidell Supercars directly to your feed. 

Technician Blaine Lundwall brings versatile, heavy-duty expertise to the shop floor. Mastered across all vehicle types, Blaine specializes in diesel platforms, trucks, Jeeps, complex diagnostics, engine builds, and custom exhaust work—ensuring everything from heavy haulers to off-road builds get expert-level care.
